AR revealed that there was an all-Philly album in the works but that the situation with Beans and Meek caused those plans to fall through. To AR-Ab, Beans showed a lack of character in the situation although he holds him in high regard as being one of his personal favorites. AR-Ab also gave his take on Lil Uzi Vert and said that he doesn’t know him personally but does know people from North Philly who run with Uzi. To AR, he would advise not to take Uzi lightly, stating, “he ain’t no sucka.” AR-Ab feels like that goes for a majority of the “mumble” rappers as well. He pointed out how gangsta someone like Young Thug is despite the gender-bending fashion sense the ATL rapper possesses. AR-Ab also discussed the state of Philly’s hip-hop scene which is dominated by Meek and Uzi. According to AR, he would like to see a concert with the two Philly stars headlining along with PNB Rock. AR-Ab said a show with that lineup would bring out the entire city of Philadelphia and would be a monumental event. AR-Ab closed out this clip by shining light on the new crop of Philly rappers that he feels have the potential to be stars and advised any record executive to come to Philly if they’re in search of new, vibrant talent.
